Solve & Rise: Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 October 2026

This policy covers the Android app Solve & Rise (package dk.simonhl.solverise), published on Google Play by Simon Larsen (“we”).

In short

Solve & Rise collects no personal data and shares nothing. The app has no internet access, so nothing can leave your phone. There are no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

To work as an alarm clock, the app keeps the following in its own private storage on your phone:

  • your alarms, their settings, your app settings and any phrases you add;
  • copies of sound files you import (you pick each file yourself in Android’s file picker);
  • a small technical log of times and events (such as “alarm rang”), with no labels or other personal content, to help find out why an alarm was missed. It is limited to about 128 KB and old entries are deleted automatically.

The app also checks a few facts about your phone, such as its make and its battery settings, to show the right setup steps. These are not stored.

None of this is sent to us or anyone else. It is not backed up to the cloud or copied to a new phone.

Permissions

The app uses Android permissions only to ring reliably: exact alarms, notifications and the full-screen alarm screen, starting again after a restart, and keeping the sound and vibration going while it rings and, only if you allow it, ignoring battery optimisation. It does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.

Security

The app’s storage is private: other apps can’t read it. So that alarms can ring after a restart before you unlock the phone, it is protected by your phone’s device encryption rather than by your screen lock.

Deleting your data

Delete alarms, phrases or sounds in the app. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android’s settings, deletes everything. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to delete on our side.

Google Play

Google may collect information when you use Google Play and Android, for example anonymous crash and performance statistics if you allow your phone to share them. We may see these in aggregated form. This is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above, before releasing a version that handles information differently.

Effective date: 28 October 2026

This policy covers the Android app Solve & Rise (package dk.simonhl.solverise), published on Google Play by Simon Larsen, an individual developer in Denmark (“we”). We are responsible for this app and this policy.

In short

We never receive any of your data. Everything the app stores stays on your phone, under your control. The app has no internet access, so nothing can leave your phone. There are no ads, no analytics, no accounts and no tracking.

What stays on your phone

To work as an alarm clock, the app keeps the following in its own private storage on your phone:

  • your alarms, their settings, your app settings and any phrases you add;
  • copies of sound files you import, used only as your alarm sound (you pick each file yourself in Android’s file picker);
  • a small technical log of times and events (such as “alarm rang”) to help find out why an alarm was missed. It never contains your phrases, file names or anything else you enter, is limited to about 128 KB, and old entries are deleted automatically.

The app also reads a few facts about your phone while it runs, such as its make and battery settings, to show the right setup steps. These are not stored.

None of this is sent to us or anyone else. It is excluded from Android backup and from device‑to‑device transfer, so it is not copied to the cloud or to a new phone.
